A new poll reveals Michiganders are opening up to the idea of legalizing marijuana.
According to the latest Michigan Radio Poll, 56% of Michiganders think the state should legalize and tax it.
Forty-percent want it to remain illegal.
The issue is expected to be on the November 2016 ballot. If it's approved, people over 21 would be able to grow, buy and use marijuana for recreational purposes.
Attorney Thomas Lavigne from the Cannabis Counsel and Senator Rick Jones joined us live to debate the issue.
