(WXYZ) — One of metro Detroit's first axe-throwing bars is expanding with two new locations planned for later this year. Detroit Axe and The Corner opened in Ferndale a couple of years ago, and by the end of the year, they'll have new locations in Detroit and Clinton Township.
According to a publicist for the company, they will open a location in Corktown on Michigan Ave. Crain's Detroit reports the bar will feature 16 axe-throwing lanes, a full bar, a food truck on-site and nearly 1,000 board games.
In The Mall at Patridge Creek, it's expected the bar will be much smaller, but still feature a small bar, food and axe-throwing lanes.
Both locations are expected to open in the fall.
