A Detroit businessman will be arraigned Tuesday after being charged with assault and battery for spitting on a black security guard in Eastern Market.

Robert Stanzler, 50, owner of Detroit Mercantile Co., was allegedly upset about attendees at a business event in Eastern Market for parking on his property.

Ibrahim Faison, 29, was working as a security guard. Stanzler made an obscene gesture and spat in Faison's face; Faison captured video of the incident, which went viral.

Stanzler will be arraigned at 10:30 a.m. in 36th District Court.
