DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating after a 36-year-old woman was found dead with gunshot wounds to her head Sunday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation by Detroit police, an unidentified person contacted 911 just before 11 a.m. after seeing the victim laying in a vacant lot in the area of Coplin Street near Waveney.
Police released surveillance video of two persons of interest in connection to the woman's death.
The video was recorded at a green light location on East Warren and Algonquin.
It shows the victim getting into a white sedan. The firsst man is wearing a light colored shirt, light pants and glasses. The second is seen walking into a gas station wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with "Huskies" on the front, with dark pants and a dark colored baseball cap.
