Detroit Police are looking for armed carjackers this afternoon.
Police say their officers were out this morning in full force-- on foot, in the air and with K-9s looking around the area of Greiner and Pelkey.
That's near Gratiot and 6 Mile on the city's east side.
We're told a man and woman were inside a 2015 orange Mustang convertible when a couple of the men put guns to their heads and ordered them out.
It happened just before midnight.
This morning, police spotted the stolen car. The gunmen were still inside, but they jumped out and took off.
The suspects are described as black males around 18 years old, and they were last seen wearing black hoodies.
