The Detroit Red Wings will honor Mike Ilitch on the ice with a commemorative patch on their jerseys, the organization tweeted out on Wednesday.
The tweets included pictures of the "Mr. I" patch that the players will wear.
The "Mr. I" tribute is also on the ice at the Joe Louis Arena.
