A Detroit man described as a "fugitive with a violent past" has surrendered himself to U.S. Marshall's in Los Angeles, California.

Kenneth Moore, 56, was considered a person of interest for two bank robberies that happened earlier this week in Grand Rapids.

Authorities say two Fifth Third Banks were robbed within just a few hours of each other on Monday, September 10th.

Moore's felony convictions date back nearly 30 years. According to a report by WZZM, eight of Moore's convictions resulted in prison time.
