DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit-based company Detroit Vs. Everybody is teaming up with adidas on a line of shoes and apparel, just in time for 313 Day on March 13.
The company was started by Tommey Walker, and said to "Consider the DVE brand your official Detroit welcoming committee. We are the city; take us with you."
On top of sweatshirts and adidas "Detroit Vs. Everybody" hockey sweaters, they are debuting the adidas Top Ten sneaker in honor of 313 Day.
"Over the decades, the adidas Top Ten has become a physical symbol of hard work, hustle, and style in Detroit," Sneaker News reports. "The go-to shoe for the city's finest entertainers, neighborhood superheroes, and cultural figures, it was - and still is - an unequaled status symbol in the Motor City."
Sneaker News reports that the shoe has black leather at the base, a red "313" on the midfoot and a white "Detroit Vs. Everybody" embellishment on the collar.
They will retail for $120 and be sold at the Detroit vs. Everybody flagship, as well as other retailers like Mr. Alan's, Burn Rubber and Puffer Reds.
The hockey jersey will cost $180, the hoodie for $100 and two t-shirts for 35.
