DETROIT (WXYZ) — Another one of Detroit's Most Wanted is off the streets.
Nathan Payne was arrested by Detroit Police after a viewer saw Detroit's Most Wanted and called 911.
“They’re trying to seriously harm her, they grab the hammer, they’re throwing hailmakers, I mean she could have hit her in her skull and crushed her skull- she’s just throwing blind hailmakers all over the place,” Deputy U.S. Marshal Aaron Garcia, DFAT supervisor said.
The surveillance video is hard to watch. It shows an employee at the MNM Motel on 8 Mile on Detroit’s east side being violently attacked by a woman and a man.
"The worker is back here trying to get them to leave the property,” Garcia points out on the video.
That’s when you see the unidentified woman kick a car and the victim tells her to leave.
“You can see she rushes in the door, Nathan Payne right behind her, and this guy is holding her down and they’re just beating her up,” Garcia said.
The brutality only grows as police say Payne tells the unidentified woman to go get a weapon.
“She leaves and gets the hammer, you can see her on video clear as day, just putting a beating on her,” Garcia said.
Miraculously, the victim survived but police telling us she is now in hiding and scared her two attackers will come back to finish the job. That’s why the U.S. Marshals have all hands on deck working to help find her closure.
