A new vendor, Doob, in Comerica Park is creating doob-lications of its customers.
The process is simple: you step into the dooplicator, strike a pose and 54 cameras take your photo. It creates a 3D image to be printed in New York then shipped back to you.
"The core reason always comes down to capturing a moment with a loved one. We get a lot of wedding cake toppers. We get people coming in with their kids, getting the kids scanned to give to the grandparents," says Anastasia Tighe, Doob senior manager.
