ROMULUS, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Detroit Metro Airport is now open after closing overnight due to bad weather conditions.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration website, DTW closed at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and remained closed until 10 a.m. Wednesday.
At 12:30 p.m., the airport said all four primary runways were open.
Throughout the morning, DTW officials say maintenance crews will continue working hard to reopen the remaining runways and taxiways.
