(WXYZ) — Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib has won re-election for her second term to Congress, the AP projects, beating out several candidates on Tuesday night.

Tlaib, who beat out Detroit City Council President Brenda Jones in the primary, was a lock to win the seat in the primarily Democratic district. It includes portions of the City of Detroit and Wayne County.
She has attacked President Donald Trump and Republicans throughout her time in Congress, and Trump and Republicans hit back.
Trump includes Tlaib when speaking of progressive Democratic congresswomen of color by calling them “AOC plus three. It includes Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Tlaib.
After winning her first term, Tlaib made waves across the country after being caught on video saying “we’re going to go in and impeach the mother f*****.”
