(WXYZ) — President Donald Trump called Congresswoman Debbie Dingell a "phony congresswoman" on Twitter after her appearance on Fox News Monday night.
Dingell was on "The Story with Martha MacCallum" discussing concerns with the U.S. Postal Service. Trump referred to her appearance as a "total waste of airtime."
Why would @FoxNews put on phony Congresswoman @RepDebDingell. A total waste of airtime!

Dingell responded, suggesting that the president spend less time attacking people and watching TV.
Mr. President — If you spent less time attacking people (and watching TV), and more time addressing COVID-19, we could beat this pandemic together. https://t.co/v7y1PsHtwZ

This is not the first time Trump has attacked the congresswoman.
In December, during a campaign rally in Battle Creek, Trump expressed his displeasure with her vote in favor of his impeachment.
Trump said he gave the late Congressman John Dingell the "A-plus treatment" when he passed, although Debbie still voted in favor of his impeachment.
In a cross remark, Trump said that during the conversation Debbie mentioned that John is probably looking down from heaven, pleased at how he was remembered. Trump said during his speech Wednesday that maybe John was actually "looking up," referencing that he may not have gone to heaven.
President Trump added that he believed that Debbie would have voted no during the impeachment proceeding, due to her previously expressed gratitude.
Debbie responded on Twitter saying that Trump's words were "hurtful" and made her "healing much harder."
