MILFORD, Mich. (WXYZ) — Now that's something you don't see every day – a gator walking the streets of Milford.
A pet alligator was found roaming around in a neighborhoods.
One man said that he knew his neighbor had a pet alligator, joking that the neighbor went to the water park and the gator must have wanted to join. Turns out, the gator is regularly put on a table, but this time, he broke free.
"I know that our neighbor had a gator," Randy Beaudet said, "Was a little surprised it got away. I knew who it belonged to, but I just wanted to get the neighbor contacted and get it back home. It wasn't happy, but everything did end up okay."
Beaudet said he didn't do it alone – a worker from a pet shop near Commerce and Milford Road had a bunch of leashes in their car, so they tied the gator to a tree until the owner could arrive.
