Egypt Covington's ex-boyfriend has been named a person of interest in her murder that occurred on June 23, 2017.

Investigators say they are unable to clear Kenneth Michalak and need to talk to him more.
Egypt Covington was found murdered at her home in Van Buren Township. Her father, Chuck Covington, said Egypt was an account manager and doing well for herself.
He said the last time he saw her was Father's Day in 2017.
