Those looking to get into either skilled trades living in Detroit and Wayne County have the opportunity to learn more about them at the "Ready. Set. Build!" Workforce Expo at Cobo Center on Wednesday.
The expo aims to showcase the skilled trades throughout the construction industry, and those who attend will get hands-on demonstrations and video presentations.
On top of that, there will be meetings with union apprenticeship school directors and discussions with contractors.
