To celebrate the first night of Chanukah, the fifth annual Menorah in the D celebration is happening Sunday at Campus Martius Park. The event kicks off at 3 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m.
The free event is will feature a 300-foot zip line, live entertainment, a variety of kosher food and numerous games, crafts and fun for everyone.
Hosted by The Shul of West Bloomfield in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit, the actual lighting of the 26-foot steel and glass menorah will happen at 5 p.m.
Starting at 6 p.m., the after party will feature live shows including music from Avy Schreiber.
