The Michigan Department of Education is allowing people to look up M-STEP test scores for each public school in the state.
Using the MI School Data website, parents can check out the "parent dashboard" which is "filled with important school-level information that parents and others say they want to know about Michigan public schools, including charter schools."
After searching for a school, people can see a performance summary, progress summary, graduation rate, advanced coursework stats, post-secondary enrollment, on-track attendance, English learner process, assessment participation and more.
You can compare the scores for one school with both the average of similar schools by demographic and the state of Michigan average.
To check the scores, click here and then go to the "Parent Dashboard" link.
