Families in Flint had a chance to sound-off about the city's water crisis during a special hearing today.
The Michigan Legislature created a joint committee to tackle issues surrounding the Flint water crisis. The Flint Water Public Health Emergency Committee was created to review findings, take testimony and consider new policies to prevent a similar disaster in the future.
Today, they held a public hearing in the city to give as many people as possible a chance to speak up and be heard by legislators. Public remarks were limited to three minutes each.
The meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Northbank Center on the U of M Flint campus. It wrapped up shortly before 4:30 p.m.
