FLINT, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Flint Police Department is mourning the loss of Captain Collin Birnie.
Late last night, the department wrote on their Facebook page that Birnie was involved in a car crash while on duty.
According to the Facebook post, Birnie served the Flint community for 26 years.
Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming.
