A group of 100 Flint families and residents boarded buses Tuesday night, headed to Washington DC for Congressional hearings on the water crisis.

Some are bringing jugs full of dirty water, other bags of hair that has fallen out because of the toxic water.

A prayer vigil is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday morning in DC, led by the Rev. Al Sharpton.

These families are upset former Emergency Manager Darnell Earley and Governor Rick Snyder will be not be testifying in front of lawmakers.

Melissa Mays tells 7 Action News, "Him not being there, and Earley not going, just shows their guilt."

Tammy Loren is one the many mothers headed to Capitol Hill for these hearings.

With tears in her eyes, she told us, "It's emotional. Our kids are sick. People are dying."
