General Motors and Ford are getting rid of some of their cars, according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal.

The report says that GM will stop production on the Chevy Sonic subcompact car later this year and possibly even some sedans. Some of their sedans include the Chevy Malibu and Impala and Chevy Cruze.

On top of that, Ford has said they are reportedly doing away with the Taurus and Fiesta.

The report says that the companies are making the changes because buyers are steering toward SUVs and pickup trucks, away from smaller cars.
