Forget about taking these Detroit roads this weekend. They'll be closed

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Try using a detour to get around metro Detroit this weekend.

The Detroit Department of Public Works released its weekly reminder of all the roads that will be closed beginning Friday, June 7.

• Woodward between Jefferson and Larned will be closed completely from now until TBD for Spirit of Detroit Plaza.
• Westbound Cadillac Square between Bates and Woodward will be closed completely from May 22, 2019 until Aug. 26, 2019 for Quicken Loans 2019 Summer Sports Zone.
• East Adams between Witherell and Brush will be closed completely intermittently from June 4, 2019 until June 9, 2019 for Tigers Games.
• Witherell between East Adams and Montcalm will be closed completely intermittently from June 4, 2019 until June 9, 2019 for Tigers Games.
• Iroquois between Vernor and Charlevoix will be closed completely from June 8^th, 2019 until June 9^th, 2019 for the Indian Village Home and Garden Tour event.
• Griswold between Michigan and Jefferson will be closed completely on June 9^th, 2019 for the Motor City Pride Parade event.
• Jefferson Service Dr. between Griswold and Washington will be closed completely on June 9^th, 2019 for the Motor City Pride Parade event.
• Washington between EB Jefferson Service Dr. and WB Jefferson Service Dr. will be closed completely on June 9^th, 2019 for the Motor City Pride Parade event.
• Atwater between Bates and Chene will be closed completely on June 8^th, 2019 for the Riverfront Run 2019 event.
• Chene between Atwater and Franklin will be closed completely on June 8^th, 2019 for the Riverfront Run 2019 event.
• Franklin between Chene and Dequidre Cut will be closed completely on June 8^th, 2019 for the Riverfront Run 2019 event.
• Cherrylawn between Fullerton and Buena Vista will be closed completely from June 7, 2019 until June 9, 2019 for the 313 3 on 3 Basketball Clinic and Tournament.
• Buena Vista between Indiana and Cherrylawn will be closed completely from June 7, 2019 until June 9, 2019 for the 313 3 on 3 Basketball Clinic and Tournament.
• Larned between I-375 and Randolph will be partially closed from now until July 1, 2019 for utility installation.
• Beaubien between Congress and Jefferson will be partially closed from March 20, 2019 until July 1, 2019 for utility installation.
• Brush between Larned and Congress will be partially closed from March 20, 2019 until July 1, 2019 for utility installation.
• Larned between Washington and Randolph will be partially closed from June 1, 2019 until Nov. 15, 2019 for utility installation.
• SB Beaubien between Congress and Larned will be partially closed from March 20, 2019 until July 1, 2019 for utility installation.
• Clifford between Washington and Bagley will be closed completely on June 10, 2019 until June 12, 2019 for building construction.
• Griswold between Congress and Larned will be partially closed from now until December 29, 2019 for building restoration.
• Griswold between Congress and Fort will be partially closed from now until TBD for building renovation.
• Park between Elizabeth and Columbia will be partially closed from now until Dec. 31, 2019 for building renovation.
• Adams between Woodward and Park will be partially closed from now until Oct. 8, 2019 for underground parking garage repairs.

• Farmer between Bates and Monroe will be closed completely on Dec. 17, 2018 permanently for Monroe Block Development.
