Detroit's Beacon Park is celebrating its one-year anniversary with an array of events all weekend long this weekend.
It kicks off Friday with a silent disco at the park from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. For those who don't know, a silent disco is where you dance to music on headphones given out instead of everyone hearing it. Plus, that will be accompanied by the night markets.
On Saturday night, there will be a free concert from Saint Motel, a Los Angeles-based indie pop band. Finally, there will be free family fun days on Sunday throughout the day.
