General Motors is planning to launch an Airbnb-type car service through it's car-sharing platform, Maven, according to Bloomberg.
VOTE: Would you let someone else rent your car?
Bloomberg reports that the company will begin testing through a pilot program this summer. It will allow owners to rent out their vehicles when they aren't using them.
According to the story, GM vehicle owners can put their cars on Maven's platform and then will share the revenue from the renal with GM.
Currently, Maven rents cars owned by the company to drivers.
