There will be several important highway closures across metro Detroit over the weekend as crews try to finish projects before winter.
Eastbound I-696 will be closed from I-275 to M-10/Telegraph Rd. from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. The detour will be southbound M-5 to Telegraph back to I-696.
Also, eastbound and westbound I-94 will be closed from I-75 to Conner in Detroit from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. The detour will be northbound I-75 to eastbound I-696 back to I-94.
