M-DOT says a portion of the first phase of the I-75 modernization project needs to be redone because of ride quality issues.

The segment, which reopened to traffic in September 2017, is southbound from South Boulevard to Adams Road.

M-DOT says the repair work will close one lane of the freeway from 8:00 p.m. Tuesday until Sunday evening, October 21.

The repaving will be conducted at the contractor's expense.
