DETROIT (WXYZ) — Give him a pile of LEGOs and watch him go! Charles will be on a mission to make a creation to brag about. The sixth grader who is currently in foster care in Michigan hopes his future family will like LEGOs, too.

“I play with my LEGOs… nothing can beat my LEGOs. Once I start playing with them, nothing can distract me. And I don’t even need instructions to build stuff,” he said proudly.

“Charles is so smart and he’s so sweet. He loves to learn,” said his worker.

His favorite subject in school is science.

“I have a telescope,” he said. “I’m planning to use it for science and see if there’s are any more special planets out there we don’t know about.”

“Frogs are adorable,” he added. “I like to catch frogs and keep them as pets. And Praying Mantises.”

“I think he would do really good with a Mom and a Dad. He needs a two-parent home,” said his worker. “[He needs] somebody who would be patient with him, give him the structure that he needs but also the love that he needs because he loves to hug!” she added.

He’d love to have a Mom, Dad and siblings.

If you have pets in your home, he’d be thrilled – especially dogs.
