DETROIT (WXYZ) — Dylan may be a fella of few words, but he is full of life.
“He is an energetic, caring, loving young man,” described his worker.
The 14-year-old loves to play with cars and interactive toys -- especially on his phone.
He is described as imaginative and playful.
“Dylan is very great at organizing things and putting them in place,” his worker added.
“He loves to read even though he doesn’t actually know how to read yet. He is trying the concepts of reading and putting his finger on the pages and things like that,” said his worker.
He loves to color, being active, and smiling.
“Dylan loves to display love and his signs of affection –really liking you -- is hugging you,” his workers described. “He just gives you a hug, and he tells you bye and he smiles.”
He also likes to look out for the welfare of others.
“When he sees somebody in crisis, he wants to know why they’re crying or why they’re sad and he wants to comfort them. He’s very sweet,” his worker said.
Dylan wants a family that will be supportive of him seeing his brother once or twice a month so they can keep their connection alive.
“Dylan would do well with a Mom and a Dad. Dylan likes the structure that is given to him. He will definitely need one-on-one attention – cater to him in a supportive and nurturing way,” she added.
Having animals in the home would also be a plus for him.
He’s looking for a loving, supportive family that’s going to help him thrive. He just needs to continue to grow,” she explained.
