DETROIT (WXYZ) — Ready. Set. GO! Oscar will race you if you give him a chance. And we just found out that this little runner has been matched with a family for adoption!

“I like to run at track. I am so fast,” said Oscar proudly. “I like to play basketball. I like to play hide-and-go-seek. I like to play tag.”

He also likes to swim and go to the park. He really likes riding his bike with his friends.

“Oscar has a really nice personality. He’s upbeat. He’s silly. He’s got a really great sense of humor. He often describes himself as funny and really fast -- which is true,” said his worker.

Oscar is a second grader who's been in foster care in Michigan awaiting adoption, and we're pleased to report that this foster child has been matched with a recruited family.

“Oscar also just likes to snuggle and sit on your lap, and watch movies. He’s really loving, and he likes to hug,” his worker explained.

Oscar does well in school and enjoys going to class.

“I like school. I want to live on a farm and take care of animals,” said Oscar.

We're so pleased to share this good news!
