DETROIT (WXYZ) — If you poured a bunch of puzzle pieces in front of Liam, he’d be putting it together in no time! The 14-year-old in Michigan’s foster care system wants to be adopted by an active family that also enjoys games.

“I’m fun and kind of spontaneous,” he said describing himself.

“I like going outside sometimes, but I’m usually inside usually either playing video games or I would be doing…puzzles,” he said. “The last puzzle I put together was 10,000 pieces.”

“I like playing Minecraft, some racing games,” he added.

When it comes to school work, Liam really enjoys math and science.
He’s a good student, too. He’s been on the honor roll.

“My school has four different types of academies, and I’m in the engineering and design one.
When I grow up, I might want to be an engineer,” he explained.

Reading is also one of his favorite things – especially Japanese comic books.

“It’s read from right to left,” said Liam. “I’ve started to draw some of it.”

Liam is current looking for a family with a Mom and a Dad, about three siblings, and a dog.

“I mostly want to live in the city. I like to bowl, and I also would probably want to go to a few museums,” he said.

He also participates in soccer, likes playing with his yo-yo, and enjoys throwing the Frisbee around or hitting the volleyball court with friends.

“I just need a supportive family. That’s all I need,” he added softly.
