Grant Me Hope: Melody would like to be adopted by a Mom and Dad who are animal lovers

There’s something about purring cat or a dog wagging its tail that is truly endearing to Melody. The 12-year-old who is currently in foster care in Michigan is hoping to be adopted one day.

She’d like her future forever family to have at least one animal or a connection to animals.

If they had a cat or a dog, she’d consider that a plus.

“If it was a pug, I would name it “Tank, Junior,” she said with a smile.

She is also interested in music and art.

“We draw, we paint, we do other stuff, too,” she explained.

When it comes to sports, she’d like to do cheerleading, lacrosse, and gymnastics.

“I would like to travel, see places, go to the park, play hide-and-go-seek and things like that,” she added.

Visiting Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower is at the top of her traveling wish list.

She’d love to explore with her future family.

“I’m basically looking or a nice family that is very calm and has a lot of patience. It doesn’t matter how much money you guys have…I want a Christian family,” she explained.

“She is extremely generous and always thinking of ways to share what she has with others,” Melody’s worker said.

She’d love to have a Mom and a Dad.  She’s also open to having siblings of any age.
