DETROIT (WXYZ) — Singing. Dancing. Game nights. Those are just some of Nevaeh’s favorite things.

“I like…playing Trouble and Sorry and Uno,” she said.

Nevaeh is a 16-year-old who is currently in foster care. She’s been waiting to be adopted since May 2019.

“I like school. I like to eat. I like to sing. I like to dance,” she explained.

Reading is also one of her pastimes.

“I like reading. I’m very good at it. I like books,” she said.

Pink is one of her favorite colors.

“Things I like to do is go to concerts and go shopping and get my hair and nails done,” she added.

She described her perfect day as a rainy one where she could sleep all day.

One of her dreams is to be adopted.

“I want a mom and dad and a sister who’s around my age and a brother that is a little bit older than me,” said Nevaeh. “I don’t want to go no where far away. I want to stay in Michigan,” she confided.

“I would be a good fit because I’m really nice and funny. I just want them to be understanding,” said Nevaeh.
