DETROIT (WXYZ) — An evening fire that completely destroyed a local grocery store in Detroit Saturday is being investigated.
The Detroit Fire Department went out to the Harper Food Center, 13961 Harper, around 9 p.m. Saturday to find the building nearly engulfed in flames.



The fire caused the building to collapse. Crews worked to control the flames and were still on the scene at around 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning addressing hot spots.
It's unclear at this time if there were any injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
