(WXYZ) — The United Auto Workers strike with General Motors is officially over, and now, we're getting a look at when manufacturing will resume at GM facilities.
On Friday, the contract was ratified by a majority of UAW-GM workers, which means the strike officially ended on day 40.
GM has a list of when work will continue at each facility.
Locally, full production at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant will resume on Monday, Oct. 28, which 3rd shift workers reporting at 10 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27. The same goes for the Romulus powertrain plant.
The Orion Assembly plant will resume work with the first shift on Monday, Oct. 28,
