Last week, Jeff Green almost became one of those statistics. He was enjoying the Labor Day weekend, standing in the water of a lake in West Bloomfield, when a jet ski hit him at full speed.
Police say the driver of the jet ski was drunk.
Jeff's story might have had an entirely different ending - if not for the quick thinking and quick actions of two strangers who can now call themselves Jeff's friends.
