Walled Lake police say a 25-year-old man is in custody after allegedly shooting and killing his 29-year-old girlfriend overnight at a home.
The home is in the 14000 block of E. West Maple Rd., which is just east of Pontiac Trail. It happened just before 1 a.m.
A neighbor tells us he heard arguing within the home and then several gunshots. He said he had to duck down and get out before calling police.
We're told there were two children inside the home. The neighbor believes the children are about 4 years old and an infant.
