According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, the Junction St. bridge is dangerous and they will eventually tear down the bridge. It was determined to be dangerous after a crash on Tuesday.

It will not be a full tear down of the bridge, according to MDOT, but instead 1/4 to 1/3.
