Former WXYZ Anchor JoAnne Purtan will join another WXYZ alum Stephen Clark as the new morning co-host on 104.3 WOMC.
Mornings with Stephen Clark and JoAnne Purtan will begin on Monday, April 9, one week after Clark began his new hosting gig.
“After 27 years in television news, I’m excited for this new adventure in radio. I listened to my dad on the radio for much of my life, and I’m truly humbled to be at the same station where he spent the last 15 years of his iconic career entertaining people in the morning,” Purtan said in a release.
JoAnne's dad, Dick Purtan, was an icon for WOMC for years until his retirement in 2010.
“JoAnne and I have worked together for nearly two decades and I’m looking forward to starting this new adventure with her,” Clark said. “I can’t think of a smarter, more professional, more capable partner.”
