Almost a year after the final event was held at Joe Louis Arena, and months after a group auctioned off thousands of items, Detroit Red Wings fans can finally get their hands on the arena seats.

According to Orbitbid.com and Robert Levy Associates, seats at Joe Louis Arena will go on sale to the public on Saturday, May 12. Current Red Wings full and partial season ticket holders will be able to buy their seats beginning May 1.

All of the seats will be on sale at thejoeseats.com.

The seats will be sold in minimum sets of 2 and will start at $150 per seat. They can be shipped or available for on-sit pickup.

“Pricing of the seats was determined carefully to make owning a piece of the incredible Joe Louis Arena history affordable to all fans, even though there are limited quantities available,” said Robert Levy and Scott Miedema.  “Current season ticket holders, suite holders and sponsors will have first priority.  All remaining seats will be sold on a First-Come-First Serve basis.”

Other Joe Louis Arena assets will go on sale via online auction at orbitbid.com and rlevyinc.com/sales this May. That includes furniture, lighting, signs, chilling systems and other basic infrastructure.

Also, the Joe's official scoreboard will be on sale at the same website.
