DETROIT (WXYZ) — Actress and Michigan native Kristen Bell surprised some students in Detroit last week.
Bell's company, Hello Bello, and Chrysler surprised the kids, faculty and parents at Detroit Prep with two Chrysler Pacifica minivans filled with Hello Bello shampoo, conditioner, wipes, detergents, etc. for the sutdents and school.
They also surprised them with a check to help fund their goal of building a new playground.
Detroit Prep is hoping to raise $100,000 to build a new playground. Collectively, Hello Bello, Walmart and Chrysler donated $22,500 toward the playground.
