CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A larceny suspect was arrested inside Anchor Bay Packaging in Chesterfield Township Friday morning.

Police say that tried to approach him and another suspect about a half mile away, but both took off. One suspect was arrested right away, while the other ran into the building with dozens of employees busy at work.

Police evacuated the business right away with the help of their K-9 unit and eventually found the suspect hiding in a bin in a storage area.

Authorities found a gun along 23 Mile Road, which they believed the suspect tossed while he was being chased.

Nobody was injured during the incident, police say.
