LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Livingston County Sheriff's Office is offering a free active intruder and shooter training this month.
The class is open to the first 50 interested people who contact the office. The 4-hour class will be held on Jan. 12 at the Livingston County Public Safety Complex at 4 p.m.
Deputies say the session will include a review of past active intruder events and hands-on scenarios to physically and mentally prepare the participants.
