The 2018 Ann Arbor Blues Festival will celebrate its 49th anniversary this weekend!
The music and fun begins August 17 at the Washtenaw Farm Council Fairgrounds located on 5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. Gates open at 5 p.m., and the show is set to start at 6 p.m.
On Sunday, August 19th, the fest will continue at the Blind Pig on 208 1st St. in Ann Arbor.

The event is widely recognized as the first "electric" blues festival in North America. Classic musicians like B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, Al Green and Etta James are just a few who have graced the stage in the past.
