One of Michigan’s senior statesmen weighs in on the continuing Flint water crisis in an exclusive interview for WXYZ.com.
Very few politicians in Michigan have served the Great Lakes State longer and with more success than retired U.S. Senator Carl Levin. He began his public service career on the Michigan Civil Rights Commission in 1964. Levin then served on the Detroit City Council from 1969 - 1979 and in the U.S. Senate from 1979 – 2015. I caught up with him this week at our downtown studio where he commented on the city where he once had a U.S. Senate office.
When Carl Levin speaks, public servants should listen!
