By now, practically everyone in America has heard the name Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha.  Yes, she’s the Flint, Michigan pediatrician who helped to expose that city’s toxic water crisis.

You may also recall that she’s a Michigan native who was educated at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University Medical School.  So, it’s not surprising that she knows her medical “stuff” backwards and forward.  After all, teamed up with Virginia Tech researcher Dr. Marc Edwards, they took on the Michigan health and political establishment and won!

But I bet you didn’t know her thoughts about the very non-traditional 2016 presidential race and that fierce Big Ten sports rivalry at her Great Lakes State alma maters.   Here’s a preview of a recent wide-ranging interview I did with the very committed doctor.   You can see the entire conversation Sunday morning, August 14, at 10 o’clock on TV-7’s Spotlight on the News program.
