COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two people are in custody in connection with a smash-and-grab robbery at a Costco store in Commerce Township.
The heist led police on a chase that ended in West Bloomfield.
West Bloomfield Police apprehended the first suspect on Maple Road near Knollwood Drive around 8 p.m. Monday. Multiple K-9 officers and extra units patrolled the area searching for a second suspect believed to be on foot. According to Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, the second suspect was taken into custody near Maple and Inkster late Monday night.
Police also recovered a stolen car.
