A new video of a 92-year-old man singing to his 93-year-old dying wife will have you smiling from ear to ear.
The video by Erin Solari shows her grandparents Laura and Howard, who have been married for 73 years.
According to Erin, Laura is at a hospice facility "making peace with her final days." She captured the video of Howard singing their love song to Laura.
"The song that comforted her when he went away to fight at World War II," Erin wrote. "At family gatherings, it was not uncommon for the two for them to sing this song together, each taking a verse and serenading the other."
The video has gone viral, and according to Erin, the outpouring of love and support lifted everyone's sprits, including Laura's.
"Hospice eventually deemed her well enough to go back home to live out her remaining few days," Erin wrote. "As of this posting, my beautiful grandma Laura Virginia is still with us resting peacefully at home."
