“The reports of my demise are well overblown,” said Governor Rick Snyder at the start of his speech. He received a standing ovation.
Today the governor spoke about issues facing the state of Michigan and his thoughts on how the state is dealing with them.
He went on to say that he believes that Michiganders shouldn’t be as hard on themselves as a state because there have been some great accomplishments despite the tragedies like the state of DPS and Flint water crisis.
He addressed both issues saying that although these projects are not finished, he believes Michigan has made some great strides toward solving these problems thus far.
