MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Residents are expected to learn more about the cause of a sinkhole and sewer collapse in Macomb County.
The collapse occurred on Christmas Eve back in 2016 along 15 Mile Road in Fraser.
An 11-foot sewer main collapsed underground leading to the giant sinkhole.
Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Candice Miller will talk about the results of a comprehensive examination of the cause of the collapse. She will also discuss the steps towards cost recovery for taxpayers in the 11 communities that were affected.
